Well it was back to school today. I was expecting my class to be unruly and not remember any previously learned concepts. I was pleasantly surprised as we managed to get through both numeracy and literacy lessons really well with some lovely work produced.
I think the children relish the structure, rules and routine of the school day. This year 2006 Transition are working very hard with the "Big R" (respect). This has not always been easy and some of the children think that they are members of staff!
Well only 5 weeks to go and then it will be half-term. When we reach half-term we will be halfway through the academic year!
House of Harris is a house of studying at the moment as Joelle is halfway through her GCSE mocks and Carly is about to take some re-sits for AS levels to bump up the final result. We are waiting to hear from the universities at the moment and will let you know as soon as any offers come in (hopefully they will!)

Tell me immediately.
