I have just returned from a ski trip to Tonale, Italy. I was one of the 6 members of staff from Avon House School and Bancroft School. We took 45 year 4-6 away with us for a week.

The week was full with ski school for two hours every morning and afternoon. The hardest bit was getting the children to remember their equipment s and to get them to walk across the road to the slopes with their skis and sticks.
Matthew (Bancroft’s Teacher) and myself, joined the children in ski school everyday and we mastered the drag and chair lifts which really were my biggest fear. On the last day we played truant fro ski school and were allowed out with the grown ups fro the day. We went on some blue runs in the morning stopping for a leisurely drink on the way. In the afternoon ended up on a red run that had gone a bit slushy…… Matthew and I came down most of it by either tumbling or sliding on our bums….Cathy carried mine and Matthew's skis on her shoulders and she elegantly skied down. Chaeli, Sarah and Rebekah managed to ski slowly down, all of this through hysterical laughing.
All my bruises are from that last day!
Getting 45 children back home on a Ryan Air flight was my least favourite thing of the week.

Obviously due to data protection I cannot put any photos of the children up.
Wow, that is beautiful.
