SKi Jo

Joëlle left home today for her first ever ski trip. She is leaving school this afternoon and has to endure a 16 hour coach journey! She seems to have 3 bags that just contain food! (What else could a Jewish mother do?) It is also her friend Sophie’s birthday whilst she is away so she is carrying not only presents from herself but from Sophie’s mum! She had to sit on the case to close it and seems to have about 5 bags of hand luggage! On arrival at school, seeing she had more than the others, proclaimed “Mmmmm, I think I must be a Jewish Princess!” Have a great time Jo and I will look at the snow reports daily.

"Pennies for Haven".... Stanley Goes to Blue Peter!

Liz Barker.jpg

At school we have been involved in the "million pennies" appeal for Haven House Hospice. We have been collecting pennies and hope that they will help support children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. Today Liz Barker the Blue Peter presenter came into our assembly to collect the pennies on behalf of Haven House. She spent time chatting to the children and answering questions. She even posed for the photograph with "Flat Stanley" (our class project) and promised to take him back to Blue Peter and CBBC with her!
In the photograph above you can see Liz with the pennies and Stanley!
