I have uploaded all of the photographs and here they are.

Lol and I have just spent four wonderful days celebrating our 20th anniversary in New York. We stayed on 7th and 59th in a hotel called the Park Central. Two minutes away from Central park one way and from Broadway the other.
We did all of the touristy stuff including a bus tour and then went to places using the subway. The first day we felt compelled to visit Ground Zero. This was eerily quiet. It was unbelievable how the small church St Paul’s, was undamaged. It was also quite incomprehensible the devastation and chaos that was caused. Building was continuing (although later that day we heard it had stopped at they had found some more body remains). Poignant photographs were around the railings, along with a list of names.

We then took a walk over Brooklyn Bridge and towards Greenwich Village and the seaport.

After walking all day and a brief rest, we got tickets to see Chicago on Broadway.

Although we knew that our cousins from Chicago were in town we had yet to make arrangements to meet them. Bizzarly we bumped into them as we were eating dinner in "The Stage Deli" after the show.

We met them for breakfast and they spent time with us in Central Park. They were only round the block so we had breakfast the next day as well. Thanks Phyllis and Lori we really enjoyed spending time with you and catching up on the news.

We shopped, we walked and saw all the sights! I can't wait to go back!

We also had a lovely trip to see the United Nations.

The last morning we spent walking around Central Park. The weather had been good to us.

I will post the whole photo album once I have finished uploading.

I am so excited about using Skype. It is a free programme and as long as you have a "Skype" phone or headset, you can talk "free" to anyone else who has Skype. This means we can contact Carly (or her us) without either of us running up mobile minutes. I have just had a great conversation with my dear friend Laura Blaskett who lives in Atlanta, Georgia, USA......am so excited....Manhattan hear I come!!!!

Alexander Jake arrived safely in the early hours of this morning weighing just under seven pounds. We are Grandparents again!

Mazel tov to Nick, Vicky and Charlotte and to all the other grandparents and great grandparents.

The messy child has just sent me this photo of her room taken today. She has been to the launderette and even changed her sheets! I am impressed. However, she is a little upset that the stain on her jeans didn't come of (She sat on her tuna pasta bake)!

Missing her loads! We have just got Skype and are sending her a phone so chatting will be free!
I spent the whole weekend trying to get rid of a nasty trojan that came to me through MSN messenger. It searches people's address books and you think the message is from a friend. It says "Is that you in the picture?" with a link to click -DON'T CLICK IT - I DID! Plonker! Anyway I have now Zapped it I think. I was concerned as a friend said her daughter had it and now has "The Blue Screen of Death"!
Yay! It's booked "The Lolps" and I are off to New York for 5 days during the half term holiday. A 20th anniversary present. I really cant wait. We are staying here at the Park Central Hotel
